Screening
Mammograms – Mammograms have been shown to reduce death from breast cancer among women aged over 50. In New Zealand it is free from ages 45-69, generally every two years.
Cervical Cancer Screening – Cervical cancer screening has been shown to reduce death from cervical cancer. In New Zealand it is recommended from ages 20-70, the frequency is dependent on previous results and is normally every 1-3 years.
